Terms and booking Conditions
Your accommodation will be available for you to check into from 4pm on your day of arrival. We kindly ask that guests vacate the caravans by 10am on day of departure. Please report to the reception area on arrival to collect your keys. Keys may be collected up to 7pm or by prior arrangement.
Please do not arrive on site before check-in time unless by prior arrangement. ANPR barrier system in place and will only activate at 4pm on day of arrival.
Cancellation Policy during Covid Restrictions
During the current pandemic, if we have to cancel your holiday due to Government advice, you will be offered to transfer your holiday in the first instance. If we are unable to find you alternative dates, we would then offer you a full refund. If you are unable to travel due to tiered restrictions, the same would apply. If you cancel your holiday for any other reason, our normal Terms & Conditions as set out below will take force. It is strongly advised that you take out travel insurance to cover you against unforeseen circumstances including self-isolating.
We ask that caravans are left as found, in a clean and tidy condition, if they are not you will be charged a cleaning fee.
Please report any breakages or damage to reception immediately. Under no circumstances must you try and repair anything inside or outside of the caravan no matter how small it may seem.
There will be a charge for lost keys of £7.
Seats, cushions, blankets or bedding are not to be taken outside the van.
Guests must bring a full set of their own bedding. This must comprise of: duvets, pillows, sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases. This is for the comfort and hygiene of all future guests.
Parking for caravan numbers 6,7 & 8 is at the entrance to the park and not next to the caravan or on the central grassed area.
Two bedroom caravan prices are for up to 4 people maximum. Three bedroom caravan prices are for up to 6 people maximum including children & babies. Pets are charged at £25 per week per pet.
Bookings are usually from Saturday to Saturday or by prior arrangement with the site.
Deposits are non refundable. We would advise that you take out travel insurance in case you have to cancel a booking.
We reserve the right to cancel your booking if payment is not received by the due dates and for any other reason deemed necessary. We will not be liable to pay compensation if your reservation is cancelled by us.
Only guests named on the booking form will be permitted to stay in the Caravan.
If you wish to cancel a booking we must be informed in writing no later than 6 weeks before the booking is to take place. If we are informed of a cancellation after this period then the full balance of the holiday will be payable unless we can re book the caravan for those dates. It is strongly advised that you take out private holiday insurance to cover against this or any other unforeseen circumstances. The deposit will not be refunded even if the accommodation is re let. If you cut short your stay for any reason no refund will be given.
Balances on reservations are due no later than 6 weeks before your arrival date. If balances are unpaid after this time we reserve the right to re let the accommodation, we would refund all monies paid to us only if we re let the accommodation, less your deposit and we would not accept any compensation claim against us.
If for any reason your holiday home becomes unusable and we have no alternative accommodation available it may be necessary to cancel your booking. In this instance a full refund would be given but no compensation claim against us would be accepted. This may include things such as damage to your caravan, fire or flood.
Force Majeure, In events beyond our control we will not be liable to pay compensation or give refunds in this case. We would however always try to re accommodate all bookings at a later date. This may include events such as war, terrorism, earthquakes, hurricanes, acts of government, plagues, epidemics or pandemics.
The proprietors cannot and will not accept any liability for personal injury or any loss or damage to visitors property.
We do not allow group bookings/all male/all female parties (max 2 caravans per booking)
We currently do not allow the charging of electric vehicles on site.
Shopping deliveries are only permitted between the hours of 9am and 8pm (Saturdays 5pm and 8pm) by prior arrangement with the site only.
Bookings are only provisional until we receive the full 25% deposit, without a deposit we will hold a booking for a maximum of 5 days.
Gwendreath Farm Holiday Park DOES NOT allow smoking or Vaping inside any of it’s caravans.
Dog owners – please read carefully before booking
We are a dog friendly site and have specific caravans for dog owners, please enquire when booking as to which caravan is available for your preferred dates.
We do not allow dogs on seats or beds – proof of dogs sleeping arrangements ie. bed/basket will be required upon arrival.
Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times anywhere within the grounds.
You must clean up immediately after your dog.
You must never leave your dog unattended in your caravan for any amount of time for any reason whatsoever.
Please do not allow your dog to bark excessively.
You must bring your own dog bowls, our dishes must not be used.
Dogs must be exercised off site and not on the central grassed area or between the caravans.
Certain breeds of dogs will not be allowed on site at any time – Please check before booking that your breed of dog is allowed on site.
Please note: We do not allow the flying of Drones on site.
