Kennack Sands Ponies

If you are lucky enough to visit Kennack Sands through the winter months, you may have seen the ponies at Kennack Sands beach.

These ponies play an important role in the conservation at Kennack Sands.

Their grazing helps to keep the grass height down and their trampling encourages the growth of flora and fauna, particularly the bluebells within the Towans.

It’s a wonderful sight to see them happily munching their day away without a care in the world!
